Londontown In April

A little over a month a I took my maiden voyage to the UK.
Prior to my departure I had loads of expectations of a place that I held very high regards as a result of the importance of their diverse culture and
the quality of music that is being created (see dubstep) there on a regular basis.
London, being one of the world's most expensive cities, I had the pleasure of my very own flat in Shoreditch.
Upon entering London for the first time on the Picadilly line from Heathrow, everything was very surreal.
London was akin to biting into a very rich piece of Chocolate Cake. I experienced that feeling first hand on the train.
As a Canadian, there are things that we could learn from the Brits however when I look at all the factors, they could learn
an awful lot from us as The diversity, the volume of people and the accessibility to virtually anything made for quite the combo.
Highlights include: The Tate Modern, now that's an art gallery, the spectacle of Oxford St, the manic energy of Camden Market and
the sophisticated snobbery of Portobello Rd.
Brick Lane, was something all onto itself therefore it deserves it's own category. Make this historical landmark of a strip a destination
upon your next visit to the UK.
Thanx to Nick, Rob and Alex for all your hospitality.
